Bamenda Industrial Zone: Close to Ten years on: No industry with land at 400F a meter square

By Bakah Derick The 44 hectares of land secured by the industrial Zone Management and Development mission (MAGZI) in Ntah-na-ah Nkwen Bamenda III subdivision is yet to have a hut belonging to an industry despite announcements as far back as 2016 by MAGZI officials that 10 hectares of the land had been taken according to a report on Cameroon Tribune on the 20 November 2014.  Visiting the site on Friday 29 October, 2021, a beautiful road from national road number 11 just before National Polytechnique University Institute led to the site via settlements in Ntah-Benkeh quarter in Nkwen into the bushy industrial Zone. Cybersecurity: ANTIC trains NW teachers in the face of surging Cybercrime

The seminar for Secondary Schools and University Teachers that took place from October 27-29 2021, focused on the theme "teachers, vectors of cybersecurity best practices for an enlightened youth. Bamenda III announces Maiden edition of Festival Of Heritage Arts And Cultures (FEHACU)

FECAFOOT Elections: Rule outs hit North West

By Bakah Derick  A decision published at nightfall on Wednesday 20 October 2021 has disqualified several names from the list of contestants for various positions at the regional league and federal level of the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) from the North West.  Not fewer than four persons are concerned by the list which hilltopvoices got a copy published by the Barrister Achet Nagnigni led seven man commission.  The petition submitted by Tah Robert President of SIMAF was admitted for hearing by the commission.  Concerned are Dinga Joseph, Nchinda Charles, Abang Raphael ans Chi Ivo.  While the commission rules out one for revocation of membership, the others are accused for using "fraudulent letters of endorsement."  Chi Ivo's case remains unclear as his name appears on list of those ruled out and remark but the decision section in the document rather says "rejects the claims against the candidacy of Mr Chi Ivo." FECAFOOT Elections: NW presidential race settled

By Bakah Derick  The race for the president of the regional league of the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) is now settled.  Initially contested between Chi Ivo and Felix Mbigha, only one candidate is left following the withdrawal of the other.  In a letter hilltopvoices stumbled on during the closng hours of Wednesday October 20, 2021 addressed to the electoral commission of ( FECAFOOT ) with the subject "withdrawal of candidature", Chi Ivo indicated his withdraw from the race.  "I come before your very high benevolence to solicite the withdrawal of my candidature from the post of President for the North West regional league." FECAFOOT Elections: Club promoters, Politicians, Referees, others line-up for fierce North West contest

By Bakah Derick  The Electoral Committee of the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) has published the names of persons aspiring for various positions at the regional boards and representatives at the federal levels of the Football Association (FA). Bamenda Referral Hospital project: Parliamentary commission inquiry results awaited 8months after as site turns to a thick bush

By Bakah Derick Work has failed to resume at the  construction site of the Bamenda Referral Hospital eight months after the enquiry mission of a parliamentary commission that visited the area and met with the project stakeholders..
