Forensic Investigation: International Institute installs Cameroon Board, New country Director unveils plan of action

The International Institute of Certified Forensic Investigation Professionals (IICFIP) USA, Inc now has a new executive  for Cameroon. The new board led by the very experienced Dr Mokube Mathias Itoe was installed on Saturday 16 October 2021 during the Annual General Assembly  (AGM)  in Yaounde  attended by top administrative authorities and IICFIP African Continental Director Dr Linus Enobi Akepe.

Elections during the AGM saw the following elected into the new Board of IICFIP CAMEROON: Country Director: Dr. Mokube Mathias Itoe, Chairman: Ndangoh Calvin Tah, Secretary General: Bushu Emmanuel, Treasurer: Francine Happi Afanji, Mobilisation Directors: Nkasah Stephan Bekeneh and Mbu Jarvis, Professiona Liaison Directors: Ngole Roland and Dr. Langa Micheal, Minute Secretary: Midjet Ebonlo Regine, Training Directors: Valentine Okale Dang and Louis Valentine Abena India. For the positions of regional director, the following were elected: South West: Enades, North west: Atech Olympian, Center Region:Valentine Wupongwuh, South: Kole Ebang Paul, Littoral:Cho Ndifor Cornelius, Grand North: Dr. Mosoko Jebea. For IICFIP Cameroon advisers,  Mr. Aloysius Vutumu,  Pa Paul Acha and Dr. FERDINAND Abangma were elected.

In his acceptance speech, Dr Mokube Mathias Itoe promised to work for a better IICFIP Cameroon following it's mission and contributions of previous country directors. 

".....With boundless gratitude for the confidence placed in me by the Institution, and with an unswerving resolve to honor that trust, I humbly affirm my acceptance of the appointment as Country Director of IICFIP Cameroon Country office.... As new Country Director, I plan to take necessary measures, in order to elevate staff morale, make IICFIP more dynamic and further increase the satisfaction of our members with our work and delivery. I strongly believe that this is achievable, by establishing dialogue, building trust, increasing efficiency and focusing on accountability." He said

In his installation address, Dr Linus Enobi Akepe indicated that IICFIP delivers professional  certifications in CFIP – Certified Forensic Investigation Professional, CACC – Certified Anti-Corruption Consultant, CMIP – Certified Medical Investigation Professional, CDFP – Certified Digital Forensic Professional amongst others. He explained to event attendees that "forensic training can provide the 21st century knowledge and analytical skills to personnel and staff that will enable them manage contemporary problems and challenges relates to fraud or white-collar crime, corruption, non-compliance with statutory provisions and ethical irregularities in cooperate organizations and public institutions." 

Who is the new IICFIP Country Director for Cameroon?

Dr. MOKUBE Mathias Itoe is an Administrative Officer with over fourteen years of working experience in the Cameroon Public service. He is currently a senior official in the Cabinet of the Prime Minister, Head of Government. He formally served in the Ministry of Finance (MINFI) for ten years where he gathered experience in Budgeting, finance management, salaries management, risk management, coordination, fraud and investigation, mail management. In MINFI, he occupied the functions of Head of the Mails and Liaison Service, the focal point for Fraud and investigation in the Minister’s Cabinet, and Bureau Head for Budget in the General Secretariat. He worked immensely in the computerization of the mails system in MINFI.

MOKUBE Mathias ITOE, is holder of a PhD in Business Administration with concentration in Governance. He is equally holder of two Masters degrees: Masters in Finance Management and Masters in Accounting, Control and Audit. He has a post Graduate Diploma in Management and a Bachelors in Accounting, Control and Audit. He has over seven international certifications: Certified Professional Forensic Accountant, Certified Manager, certified Enterprise Resource Planner, certified archivist, certified Sig Sigma Greenbelt specialist, certified project manager. He has undergone training in close to 10 countries worldwide (China, Germany, Cape Verde, Senegal, Armenia, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Uganda, Kenya, UAE…). He is a visiting lecturer of accounting, control, and audit in some Universities. He is equally a lecturer of systems audit and control.
