Football: Foncha Street FC gets new Name, Adopts Budget, Maintain President at GA

By Bakah Derick  Foncha Street FC has opted for a new name for the team. Hilltopark FC of Baba I was proposed and adopted by the club on Tuesday 29 August 2023 during the general assembly in Bamenda. The club will be expected to submit the new name for consideration by the Executive Committee of the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT). Foncha Street FC Apart from the new name, the general assembly also adopted the club's budget for the next football season. According to a publication on the club's Facebook page, the budget stands at 125MFCFA. Moh David was always maintained as the club's president. He will be assisted by Ngu Yannick as Vice, Fonkwa Louis as Secretary General, Nsah Emmanuel as Treasurer and Neba Sylvanus as Technical Director. Bamenda Stadium: Boissons du Cameroun pledge support for construction

The Hilltop Mail has gathered that Boissons du Camereroun has offered to complete the construction of the Bamenda Municipal Stadium. According to sources at the 5th follow-up committee meeting of the Implementation of recommendations of the Major National Dialogue (MND), the brewery company pledged the sum of half a billion francs CFA to reconstruct stadiums in Bamenda and Kumba; all towns in the restive North West and South West Regions of Cameroon.  The Bamenda Municipal stadium just after work started in April 2016 “This doesn't sound like bad news anyway but we are becoming so used to fake promises over the construction of a stadium in this town (Bamenda) yet nothing has happened. Bamenda III Council Inclusive Royal Football Tournament 2023: Legacy SC, Alahlie FC at final

Defending Champion Legacy SC and Alahlie FC are finalists of the Bamenda III Council Inclusive Royal Tournement 2023. Both sides grabbed their final tickets on Sunday 20 August 2023 during the Semi-finals of the football competition. National Interpools 2023: Bafmeng United FA Finish Runner-up after ISOSHA, Clinch Elite II Ticket

By Ngenwie Azeh S.  Bafmeng United Football Academy (BUFA) has finished runner-up at the just ended 2023 National interpool in Yaoundé. The North West flag bearer was knocked off by ISOSHA of Limbe with a 2-0 score at the final on Sunday 30 July 2023. Goals by Albert Tiku 55’ and Babo Brandon 60’ and no reply from BUFA gave the South West representative at the interpools the goal medal. Prior to the final, both sides had clinched Elite Two championship tickets after seeing off their Semi-finals opponents.   While regretting that the Ndeghum Spear lost the final, The North West Regional Football League in a Facebook post has congratulated ISOSHA for emerging champions of the national tourney. The league however notes that the main objective was about bringing home an Elite II ticket.   BUFA qualified on Thursday 27 July 2023 after knocking out Volcan of Noun 2-1 during the Semi-finals.  ISOSHA on their part qualified after beating Pouma FC 2-0. 

Interpools Yaounde 2023: Bafmeng United FA opens campaign with emphatic 2-0 win against Krimi FC

Sports-Football: NW Elite team battling for survival, lack of infrastructure, others blamed

Yong Sport Academy (YOSA) FC and PWD are now ranked nineth in Group A and B. They returned for training at the Nkwen Baptist School field in Bamenda this time knowing that they will never see their immediate past captain Teneng Elvis Nkam popularly known as Vishow. National Interpools 2022: North West rep enter day two this Friday from top

The match against National FC of Garoua is expected to start at 3:45pm at the Middle Farms stadium.  Hilltop Strikers FC during first outing at the Interpools.  With just one match played, Hilltop Strikers FC of Bamendakwe comes into the fixture as leader of the pool on grounds of their plus two goals advantage. Hilltop Strikers FC of Bamendakwe humbled Adamawa representative Olympique de Meiganga 2-0 during their tournament opener this Wednesday14 September 2022.  Hilltop Strikers FC of Bamendakwe ahead of the fixture with AS Olympique de Meiganga  Hilltop Strikers FC opened their account less than a minute into the game via Ngwaimbi Francis. At the close of the second half just a minute after fulltime that Yosouffa Sidick Njoya got a second.  The win by Coach Ngwa Remy and his contigent at press time puts them top of pool A with three points.
