By Bakah Derick

North West flag bearers in the ongoing Elite One championship in Cameroon have ended  with four of the possible six points on match day three despite putting up five star performances in their respective games.
At the Japoma stadium near Douala, Coach Nkabyo Martin and his men held Racing of Bafoussam to a manly "duel" for all 90mins of play. YOSA's first half goal by team captain Tegemo Emmanuel was sufficient to give him and teammates the much desired three points of the day as all attempts by Tout puissance de L'ouest (TPO) were abortive.
The victory permits YOSA to clinch their second victory from the two matches played keeping a clean sheet. Tegemo Emmanuel scored on match day two and three to give his team the wins. He is the top scorer for the club so far authoring all two goals scored by the team as at now.
PWD social football club of Bamenda on their part were held down to a 0-0 tie by a daring Avion of Nkam at the Fotso Victor stadium in Bandjoun. The huge attacking and defending machine put in place by Avion met a sufficiently ready Ngia P with players who are ready to lay their lives for the club. Team captain Burinyuy Laiver ended the game with a "broken" eye while right back Dicka Kouoh sacrificed his knee in defense of his club.
"We suffered two big injury blows during our game against Avion. Captain Burinyuy Derick (eye) and right back Kouoh Dicka (knee), played just the first half. More updates on their situation later." PWD indicated on their social media page.

With six and four points, YOSA and PWD respectively occupy the third place on the classification tables of their pools.

Their next outings this Wednesday promise to generate fireworks.
