National Interpools 2022: North West flag bearer begin campaign today

By Bakah Derick  North West representative at this year's national interpools will this Wednesday 14 September 2022 begin their campaign. Hilltop Strikers FC of Bamendakwe will face Adamawa regional representative AS Olympique de Meiganga in the first fixture of the day at the Limbe Centenary Stadium from 1:30pm.  Hilltop Strikers FC of Bamendakwe during one of their evaluation fixtures ahead of the National Interpools.  Speaking to the press ahead of the team's tournament opener, Hilltop Strikers FC trainer Ngwa Remy stated their readiness for the fixture. National Interpools 2022: North West makes authoritative entry

By Bakah Derick  North West Regional representative at the ongoing national interpools in Limbe has made an authoritative entry into the tournament. Hilltop Strikers FC of Bamendakwe humbled Adamawa representative Olympique de Meiganga 2-0 during their tournament opener this Wednesday14 September 2022.  Hilltop Strikers FC of Bamendakwe ahead of the fixture with AS Olympique de Meiganga  Hilltop Strikers FC opened their account less than a minute into the game via Ngwaimbi Francis. At the close of the second half just a minute after fulltime that Yosouffa Sidick Njoya got a second.  The win by Coach Ngwa Remy and his contigent at press time puts them top of pool A with three points. National Interpools 2022: North West rep enter day two this Friday from top

By Bakah Derick  North West representative at the ongoing National interpools in Limbe will play their second game in the tournament this Friday. The match against National FC of Garoua is expected to start at 3:45pm at the Middle Farms stadium.  Hilltop Strikers FC during first outing at the Interpools.  With just one match played, Hilltop Strikers FC of Bamendakwe comes into the fixture as leader of the pool on grounds of their plus two goals advantage. Coach Ngwa Remy and his men demolished Olympique de Meiganga on day one 2-0 to take the driver's seat in pool A.  With just a point, National FC are ranked 4th in a group of five. National Interpools 2021/2022: Rangers FC prepares for world class showdown

By Bakah Derick North West flag bearer at this year's national interpools has continued training in Bamenda ahead of the event expected to take place this September or early October in Bafoussam and Limbs.  Though with the challenge of having a good training facility, the team has been preparing on the muddy fields of GTC Nkwen, the CBC field in mile three Nkwen and the St Paul's college field.  "We are trying and for now all is going well. I trained with Foncha street that later qualified at the GTC Nkwen field. So we will try." By Bakah Derick  Amongst several clubs rehabilitated into the Elite Championships in Cameroon initially relegated during the 2020/2021 football season by a recent decision of the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) is Foncha Street FC of Bamenda. The team finished in the bottom ranks of the Elite Two Championship table and was subjected to playoffs that confirmed their relegation. In an article we published on Monday September 6, 2021, we wrongly indicated GTC Nkwen field as one of the training grounds for Rangers FC Bafut.  The right training field is GTHS Bamenda not GTC Nkwen.  We regret the embarrassment this has caused the authorities of the concerned institutions and Rangers FC in particular. 

Elite Championships 2022: North West clubs, supporters mobilising to take country by storm

By Bakah Derick  Football Clubs in the North West Region irrespective of level have been engaged in uncommon actions geared towards putting up a five star performance as the season begins later this month. From the elite to women and regional championship teams, preparations have been similar with visible signs and intentions to be conquering and professional this sesson.
