Senatorial Elections 2023: Voting closed

By Bakah Derick  Voting for senatorial elections has closed in Polling stations and centers in Cameroon. According to the electoral laws in the country, voting is expected to close at 6pm. Senatorial Elections 2023: Armed conflict limits campaign to Bamenda

By Bakah Derick  After launching campaigns at the regional level in Bamenda, Senatorial Candidates in the Northwest Region have practically gone underground with no sign of engaging in divisional and subdivisional campaigns as is the case in other areas of the country.  The Cameroon's People's Democratic Movement (CPDM) launched their campaigns in the Bamenda congress hall on Saturday 25 February 2023. Since the launch, the aspiring senators have ramined in popular hotels in town. New Year Day 2022: Che Ndaka Nicholas spreads love to hospitalised Children, new born babies

Paul Biya 39 years in Power: CPDM reclaims territory as recommended by Prime Minister

The leader of the Cameroon People's Democratic Movement for the North West Region has led a rare march in Bamenda by militants of his party in recent times. Yang Philemon was in Bamenda on Saturday 6 November 2021 to celebrate the 39 anniversary of President Paul Biya as head of state.  Launched in Bamenda, the city is no doubt home to the ruling Cameroon People's Democratic Movement (CPDM).  During his recent visit to Bamenda, the Prime Minister and Head of government, Chief Dr Joseph Dion Ngute called on people in the North West Region regain their territory and intergrity by retaining to their normal activities. By Bakah Derick Women of the ruling Cameroon People's Democratic Movement ((CPDM) have hailed President Paul Biya for recognising and involving them in the running of state affairs. The women made their position public in Bamenda on Saturday 6 November 2021, as the party celebrated 39 years of its National President Paul Biya as President of Cameroon.  In a message delivered on behalf of the women by Dr Mrs Neba Doh Sirri, the creation of the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and the family to take care for the  needs of women was saluted.
