AFCON 2021: Steeve Yago begs-pardon from Fai Collins

Stallions defender Steeve Yago has apologised to his Cameroon counterpart Fai Collins following what he describes as a dangerous during the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) opener in Yaounde on Sunday 9 January 2021.

The Toulouse Man on his Twitter handle started by indicating that the first match of #AFCON2021 did not produce the expected results. He then went on to present his excuse to Fai Collins for the dangerous tackle at the start of the match. 
The match is in the past now and according to the player attention is on the next fixture which will be against Cape Verde on Thursday 13 January 2022. 

The tackle that earned him the first yellow card of the tournament just 40sec into the game according to the defending was dangerous but Fai Collins played the entire fixture. 

Cameroon ended the game with a 2-1 to take leadership of the group.
