Danny Green Press conferencea superstar music artist, a superstar worldwide," Danny Green said unveiling his vision as he embarks on his music journey.
The move into music follows a transformative career in comedy where the performer challenged deep seated social perceptions. Reflecting on his journey, he noted how comedy was once dismissed as a pursuit for "riffraffs" until university graduates like himself elevated the craft into a respected profession.
He now hopes to bring that same trailblazing energy into the music industry.
"I worked so hard on that domain as a comedian. It was not really my passion to be a comedian, but I saw it as a great tool to break into the industry", he stated adding that, " few months ago, I finally got to the level where I feel like it's time for me to pick my music career up. And when I picked it up, first thing as I did with my comedy, was to uphold the culture of my people".
Before attempting to conquer global stages under Energy Gang Entertainment, he returned to his roots in Bamenda to preview his debut Extended Play (EP),a multi-genre music project aimed at empowering local youth, upholding cultural identity, and inspiring the next generation.
Appealing for home support he noted that, "no matter how far I travel, I make sure I don't get lost,"
"Nobody is going to support you more than your own people" he stated.
The question of where he comes from has often been a subject of confusion amongst fans with many attributing him to Nigeria or Kenya. The upcoming project serves as an unambiguous declaration of his roots and his long term artistic ambitions.
"With this EP, I am making a statement that I am from Bamenda "he stated emphasising that, "I want to announce to the music industry that I am in business and I did not come to play".

"Without you guys , I am not sure it's going to be a success. Any criticisms gives me the chance to make it better" he said
Prior to unveiling his debut into the music industry, the artist had three single songs in the market. Those three singles he said each have a music video .
" First was i don't play my husband, second was a song of self-affirmation, then the third song was Sawalee".
With the official release of "Bamenda 1st Son" album slated for October 30, the artist remains confident that with the backing of his community, the EP will not only succeed commercially but will also inspire the next wave of talent emerging from Bamenda.
