Neh Sandra Fongeh presenting her machine to the Jury

Neh Sandra, known for her out-of-the-box thinking and passion for engineering, mesmerized the audience with her extraordinary project during the thesis defense titled: design and realization of a manually and motorized beans shelling machine. While most students opt for a traditional presentation or experiment demonstration, Neh's choice to showcase a beans peeling machine highlighted her unique perspective on problem-solving.
The beans peeling machine which Neh estimated at about  400.000FCFA is a perfect fusion of mechanical engineering and agricultural technology designed to streamline the laborious and time-consuming process of peeling beans which she experienced first hand growing up with beans farming family. She told her jury, the machine will make beans available solving the problem of unavailability and cost.

During the thesis defense, Neh explained the intricate details of the machine's design, the principles behind its successful performance, and the potential impact it could have on various industries. Her comprehensive presentation showcased not only her technical skills but also her ability to communicate complex concepts effectively.
Jury grade Neh Sandra Fongeh; Excellent

The University of Bamenda which is becoming renowned for its emphasis on innovation and practical application of knowledge, welcomed Neh Sandra's creative approach with enthusiasm through the jury that was visibly impressed by her ingenuity and determination. Prior to announcing her score as Excellent after her thesis defense, Dr. Tsapi Kelvin admitted that the beans shelling machine project will be very useful.

Superviced by Dr  Noutegomo Boris, Neh's achievement may not only earn her a Bachelor's of Engineering Degree in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering  but has also put her in the spotlight as a rising star in the field of engineering. With her visionary mindset and innovative approach, it is likely that she will continue to make significant contributions to the industry in the coming years.

Let's move from theory to practical. Congratulations on ur excellent work.I remember i was taught the car breaking system but never saw a car. Hahahahaha thought my tutor had a car. Please let us use our limited resources and get our students familiar with the practicality of what we impact. Kudos to this institution. I am proud of this change. Keep moving.
