Presidents of Elite One and Two Clubs in the country have confirmed the reception of the first phase of subvention for the 2022 football season. The club officials were affirmative to the question during the installation of members of the transitional committee charged with the organisation of the first and second tier championships.
Reacting to an announcement made during the installation event, on Piere Batamak, President of Avion of Nkam indicated that he had not received his club's subvention meaning one out of over 40 clubs in the country. He was however assured of the availability of his bank cheque at the federation.
The subvention which witnessed an increase and improvement in time of disbursement is expected to help the club administrators finalise preparations ahead of the new season scheduled to begin on March 12.
