SAVE THE CROWN: NW youth at forefront of RECAN cultural promotion

By Fawah Agather

Arts and culture back then used to be seen as a thing for the old, jobless and uneducated persons but #RECANNW2019 paints a different picture.

During the relaunch of the Arts and Cultural year 2019 in the Northwest region,it was observed that most participants showcasing their talents are youths, students.

In stands such as multimedia, dance, beauty pageants, aesthetics and more, young men and women clad in all designs of the "togho" and other traditional wears could be seen beaming with hope for the growth of the arts and culture sector in the region.

Youths who work in NGOs such as HOFNA empowering IDPs in arts and crafts also had stands to showcase their products such as beaded slippers, bags, hair Bands etc
ARTS and culture then is a passion for all no matter the age, education level neither social status
