By Bakah Derick The Bamenda based not-for-profit nongovernmental organisation Cameroon Gender and Environment Watch (CAMGEW) has observed this year's edition of World Earth Day with children. The observance took place at the organisation's office in Bamenda on Saturday 23 April 2022 with the participating children learning the importance of flowers to man, animal, insects and nature. Children drawing flowers during the event Like elsewhere in the world, CAMGEW and the children observed the day under the theme "Invest in our Planet." According to the Director of CAMGEW Wirsiy Emmanuel Binyuy, bringing the children together for the observance was his organisation's way of investing in the future.
