The Auxiliary Bishop to the Archdiocese of Bamenda His Lordship Agabitus Nfon says priests are falling prey to the glamour of today's world reason why they must depend on God through constant prayers and adoration for wisdom in the service of his people. He was speaking Wednesday April 8, 2015 during the Priestly Ordination of some Seven priests into the order of Roman Catholic Priesthood in the St. Joseph Metropolitan Cathedral Big Mankon Bamenda. The event which was attended by top administrative officials gave an opportunity for the Bishop to invite faithfuls to pray and support priests so they can do their work properly. Northwest Governor Adolph Lele L'Afrique Tchoffo Deben joined the National Chairman of the Social Democratic Front SDF, John Fru Ndi, Ndumu Vincent Nji Government Delegate to the Bamenda City Council, Over a hundred priests, lay faithfuls, civil and political leaders and many others in the Celebration. The Governor of the West Region Awa Fuka Augustine was also present as he offered his son to serve in the vain yard of God. He was Accompanied to Bamenda by Senior Divisional Officers SDO, and other Senior and Civil administrators from the West Region.This ordination is part of a series of similar events to take place in the ecclesiastical province with Kumbo and Buea dioceses programmed for April 9 and 10, 2015 respectively.The Newly Ordained Priests are:
