The Archbishop further disclosed that parishioners would take part in community work on Monday to clean and reinstall benches in preparation for the reopening.
“We are asking all the Christians to come out, help us do cleaning and put back the benches in the church, so that by Wednesday we are only doing decoration for the event,” he said.
With visible excitement and progress on track, the faithful are looking forward to the restored cathedral’s reopening and rededication ceremony next week.
