Nkambe Council has once again earned high praise for its exceptional execution of Public Investment Budget (PIB) projects, maintaining its position as a regional leader for the fourth consecutive year. The Council’s track record of timely and quality implementation has once again placed the division at the top of the regional performance table, alongside neighbouring Ndu Council.
Chairperson of the Regional Follow-Up Committee, Hon. Speaking while handing over the award to the representative of the Mayor of Nkambe, he lauded the council’s consistency, transparency, and community-based development model.
According to him, Nkambe Council has shown once again that good governance at the local level is possible.

Mayor Musa Shey, who was represented at the Bamenda ceremony, has been credited with introducing and sustaining a "bottom-top management" model that empowers community members to actively participate in planning and monitoring development projects.

With most of its 2025 projects already delivered or in advanced stages, the council has further solidified its reputation as a benchmark for municipal development in the region.
The recognition by the follow-up committee not only reflects the council’s hard work but also reaffirms the trust placed in Mayor Musa Shey Nfor’s leadership and his commitment to inclusive, grassroots-centred governance.
