Elite One championship 2022: YOSA, PWD claim all six points for the North West on Match Day 5

It was another remarkable day for North West flag bearers in their year's top flight championship; the Elite One championship. 
Yong Sports Academy (YOSA) remained unbeaten recording a fourth consecutive win. Toung Warren and Abena Mesina scored for Nkabyo Martin's battalion. According to a publication on the team's Facebook, Toung Warren replaced the team's lead scorer Tegemo Emmanuel held back by health concerns.
Attempts by AS Fortuna to cancel YOSA's unbeaten record only produced a goal at the 70th through Anthony Kevin. It was YOSA's first goal conceded this season. 
At the Bamendzi stadium, PWD Bamenda  made their intention to grab the three points of the day against New Stars of Douala as early as the 9th minute when Aboubakar Mohamed put the Abakwa Boys a goal up 1-0 till the end of the first half. 
PWD made their intentions clearer two minutes into the second half when Tchaoua leger took the tally to two. 

Junior Manga pulled back one for New Stars but that was not good enough to obstruct the intentions of Ngia P ending the game 2-1. 
With the wins, YOSA now ranks second in Pool A with 12 points while PWD is ranked third in Pool B with eight points.
