Rangers FC Bafut: President tells off those claiming to be club sponsors, announce plans for new season in Elite II

The President of Rangers FC Bafut has confirmed to the press that he has single handedly sponsored his team since creation in 2009. Neba George was speaking during a press conference in Bamenda on Tuesday 12 October 2021. Reacting to a question from hilltopvoices.com following claims by some local political and football officials who claim to have sponsored Rangers FC Bafut.

Prior to this declaration, the President presented his plans for the season including his decision to maintain the man who qualified his team for Elite II Anumewa Frankline as Coach. The president handed a one year contract to the gaffer with the challenge of finishing amongst the best three teams in the competition next season. 

The trainer has accepted the challenge saying that he will be correcting the mistakes he made when he played Elite Two last season with Foncha Strest last season. Though with other offers, Anumewa sees his stay with Rangers FC Bafut beyond just results but also the good current between him and the club's leader.

"I was there before but it was not that good so this time around, I came with the project to the president and he validated it. I just beleive if everything goes on the way we plan, we are going to surprise the region and the country" he said 

While announcing that the club will be recruiting as from Wednesday 13 October 2021, Anumewa Franklin has surprisingly announced that he will be keeping about 80per cent of the players with whom he played the national interpools.
