Close to 20 new players have answered present at the first recruitment session of Rangers FC Bafut as the team begins preparation for the next football season.

The 18 players who showed up followed earlier announcements that the newly promoted Elite II side was to begin recruitment this Wednesday 13 October 2021.

The venue was the saint Paul's school field and present was coach Anumewa Frankline and his collaborators to welcome the aspiring players.

According to the Media Officer of the team, the turnout was impressive though the aspiring players need to show more discipline. Like the team coach, Neba Jerome is concerned about respect for time which could eventually constitute part of the parameters for recruitment.

Neba Jerome further told Hilltopvoices that Coach Anumewa as the lead tactician will have to battle with more of the players in the coming days because there is the likelihood the number will increase.
Coach Anumewa Frankline goes to work immediately after a new one year contract was handed him on Tuesday 12 October 2021 by the Club's President Nebe George.

For now the challenge is to ensure that Rangers FC Bafut finishes amongst the three best teams in Elite II next season.
