Yong Sports Academy (YOSA) FC of Bamenda has played a 1-1 draw with #Colombe FC in a delayed day 16 Pool B fixture of the Elite One #Championship. The draw which has been attributed to fans and spectators conduct left many disappointed as they walked out of the #YOSA stadium in Njenefor #Nkwen.

Though #YOSA took a promising lead during the second half (15mins to the end of regulated time) via Ngong Neville, fans of #YOSA have been found guilty of a late additional time goal by Colombe FC.

First, it was the retaintion of their goal scorer Ngong longer than expected as he celebrated his goal out of the pitch with them. When the referee later award a yellow card to the player for intentionally wasting time, many fans booed at the referee and his second assistant who will complain of insecurity. Security forces in the stadium will then use some time to move the fans from one side of the stadium on the request of the officials.  Later was the encouragement of their goalkeeper Kelvin to delay longer on the green turf with claims of need for medical attention.

"If it was only the incident of the goal keeper, additional time should have been five minutes and the match would have ended before the #Colombe goal. Unfortunately, the time the player took outside and booing of the referee and his assistance caused the addition of three minutes making the eight minutes that was added." Hilltopvoices consultant and referee who watched the game explained.

The late equaliser for #Colombe FC through Tassy Victoire came during the last three minutes of additional time which resulted from fans conduct according to our consultant.
