Agho Oliver makes timely donation to PWD Bamenda

Agho Oliver has made a huge financial donation to the historic PWD Social Club of Bamenda.
The Abakwa boys received their gift from the charismatic youth worth 200.000FCFA on Thursday January 30, 2020 while on training at the Big Mankon field in Bamenda.

His donation has been described as timely coming at the time clubs in the country have been demanding government assistance in show of lack of funds to continue the season.

According to Agho Oliver, the performance of PWD Bamenda in recent times has been exceptional thus producing results that now rank them second on the official league table. This he said cannot be ignored.

Agho Oliver was quick to acknowledge the work of the players and the technical staff as well as the supporters who have been working hard to make the region proud though with limited resources.

His love for the beautiful game is known with several football offices and donations to his name including that of Secretary General for the North West League of the Cameroon Football Federation FECAFOOT. He accompanied the NW delegations with important envelopes that saw all NW representatives at the National INTERPOOL qualify for elite one in both the male and women categories in Bertoua and Douala respectively.

The charismatic football enthusiast is hoping to get the support of the people of Bafut-Tubah to head to parliament during the upcoming legislative elections. As he sees a need and provides the solutions he can, so too is he ready to identify and support other areas of his parliamentary constituency.  He tells this reporter.

The players of PWD Bamenda through team captain Burinyuy Derick have expressed gratitude with the gesture with a promise not to fail the donor by continuing with the pursuit for the championship title. To them, the donation is a great boaster.
