NW administration prepares clubs for new season…

The Governor of the North West Region has handed over FCFA2M to Vision Sport FC and Foncha Street FC all of Bamenda. 



The money was handed to the football clubs Monday October 14 in Bamenda during a reception offered the two teams by the region’s top administrator.


Speaking during the brief ceremony, Governor Lele L’Afrique Adolph Tchoffo Debben congratulated both teams for their qualification for the Elite competitions in the Country. Prior to handing a million francs each to the two clubs, the administrator challenged the tee clubs to exceptional in the performance so as to bring more glory to the region.

 While presenting the journey covered by Vision Sport FC and Foncha Street FC to qualify for the Women’s Elite One and League II respective, Ndi Tsembom Elvis Secretary General of the Cameroon Football Federation FECAFOOT Northwest noted that the region’s flag bearers were simply exceptional beginning from the National interpool in Bertoua to the women’s playoff in Douala. The SG went on to announce that six new referees have been promoted to play at the national level this season.

While expressing gratitude to the President of the Republic for the special assistance, deputy captain for Vision Sport FC Claris Akwe Ngeh like Chianain Terence Captain for Foncha Street FC continued the need for an improved football facility in the region an appeal the governor acknowledged as being under consideration.

Vision sport FC has been programmed to play the leagues opener this Friday 18 in Yaounde. The support from the Head of State comes after that handed to both clubs just before their qualifications by Minister Paul Atanga Nji of the Minister of Territorial Administration and Elite of the NW of almost the same amount.
