The
immediate past Mayor of Tubah Council Sofa Meji Stanislaus has been given a
hero’s burial by his native Bambui People. The Funeral on October 12 gave room
for the people of Bambui to celebrate a true son of the soil.
Speaking
on behalf of the Fon at the Funeral, Aloysius Ntoh noted that Sofa Meji will be
remembered for contributing enormously to the development of the village
particularly in the areas of education, economy and cultural development. He died at the St Elizabeth Hospital Shisong
