A book titled “What Future for the SDF after
27 years of existence” has been launched in Bamenda. The launching Wednesday
gave the Author Barrister Atanga Charles to share his over two decades experiences
in the SDF in the book he says reflect only his opinion and not that of the
party he describes as “great political party.”

The graduate from the Universities Buea and
Douala called to the Cameroon Bar in 2010 says he joined the SDF at the age of
19 hence the authority to reflect on the party’s future.
The book comes at the time the SDF is facing
new challenges both from within and without on the stands on the form of state and
security.
The book launch is coming ahead of the Party’s
convention expected to crown its founding father John Fru Ndi as chairperson
and to produce a presidential candidate a position four persons have
demonstrated interest; the first time it is happening in the 27years history of
the party.
The book is expected to inspire the party
look back in search for ways to rebuild its dwindling image and grip on the
country.
