The Cameroon Association of English-Speaking Journalists (CAMASEJ) Bamenda Chapter has officially announced Hilltopvoices as one of its media partners for the upcoming Northwest Media Forum, scheduled to take place on October 30 and 31, 2025, in Bamenda.

The announcement was made this Thursday 9 October 2025 by the President of CAMASEJ Bamenda Sah Terence Animbom, marking a key step in preparations for what is expected to be one of the region’s most engaging media convergence events. The Northwest Media Forum will bring together journalists, editors, media trainers, communication professionals, and stakeholders to exchange ideas on the evolving role of the media in a fast-changing socio-political and technological landscape.

Speaking shortly after the announcement, the Administrator and Lead Strategist of Hilltopvoices expressed delight at the partnership, describing it as “a natural alignment between vision and purpose.”

“Hilltopvoices was founded on the belief that credible storytelling and strategic communication can shape communities and inspire transformation. Partnering with CAMASEJ Bamenda for the Northwest Media Forum is a step that reinforces our commitment to professional journalism and the collective growth of the media sector,” the Administrator noted.

Hilltopvoices, a growing digital media and communication brand, has over the years distinguished itself through impactful reporting, innovative digital projects, and a strong focus on inclusive development. From multimedia news coverage and in-depth features to strategic media partnerships and online campaigns, Hilltopvoices continues to shape narratives that matter to communities.

“We see this partnership not just as collaboration, but as contribution. Our role will be to amplify the visibility of the forum, ensure engaging coverage across digital platforms, and highlight the voices shaping the future of journalism in Cameroon.” Asheri Loveline Hilltopvoices Group's Director for Events and Programs.

The Northwest Media Forum 2025 will explore key themes around media resilience, innovation, press freedom, and sustainability, with participants expected from across the country. As preparations intensify, the Hilltopvoices team says it is ready to “walk the talk” through active engagement, creative communication, and real-time reporting throughout the event.

“Our strategic tagline has always been ‘raising community voices from the hilltop.' This partnership is another opportunity to make those voices louder, clearer, and more impactful.”

With this collaboration, both CAMASEJ Bamenda and Hilltopvoices are setting the tone for a media event that promises not only reflection and debate but also renewed inspiration for the future of mefia in the Northwest and beyond.
