Hilltopvoices Breakfast Meeting fresh platform for inclusive development conversations set for June 27.

In a step to promote inclusive development and rebuild trust in public dialogue, Hilltopvoices Communications Group Ltd has announced the launch of its first-ever Hilltopvoices Breakfast Meeting, slated for Friday, 27 June 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM in Bamenda.
The maiden edition of the meeting will be held under the theme: "Media, misinformation, and trust: building a responsible information ecosystem for inclusive development." Designed as a beautifully interactive and inclusive space, the event aims to bring together voices from all walks of life including media professionals, community leaders, youth, women, persons with disabilities, development actors, and policymakers for deep, meaningful dialogue on issues affecting their lives and futures.

Unlike traditional conferences or forums, the Hilltopvoices Breakfast Meeting places value on every contribution, creating an atmosphere where every opinion, story, and perspective is heard and respected. At its core, the event is an interactive experience, one where ideas are not simply presented but explored collaboratively.
“We are not just launching an event; we are nurturing a safe, inspiring, and inclusive platform where people can meet, talk, and listen with intention... Inclusiveness is not a slogan for us, it is a guiding principle. Whether you are a farmer from the outskirts of Bamenda, a journalist working in the heart of town, or a young woman championing change in your community, your presence and your thoughts will matter. We believe that every opportunity to share counts and this meeting will prove just that.” Bakah Derick, Administrator and Lead Strategist of Hilltopvoices Communications Group Ltd said.

The Hilltopvoices Breakfast Meeting will feature a keynote reflection, a dynamic panel exchange, and open-floor contributions in a warm and relaxed setting over breakfast. It promises to be more than a formal gathering  rather, a celebration of voices and a call to action for a more inclusive and people-driven development process.

Asheri Loveline, Director of Events and Programmes at Hilltopvoices, stressed the beauty and openness of the experience.
“We are creating a space where people feel seen, heard, and respected. It will be a beautiful moment to share breakfast, ideas, and solutions together... The interactive nature of this meeting will encourage genuine connections and inspire all who attend to take action, both personally and professionally, towards building the kind of society we all deserve.”

The Hilltopvoices team is also extending an invitation to development partners, businesses, and institutions to support this timely initiative.

“This is an opportunity to stand with community voices and support meaningful, inclusive engagement... By sponsoring or partnering with this meeting, organisations align themselves with values of equity, participation, and impact. It’s a chance to build visibility around solutions that truly come from the ground up.” the administrator noted
The event is expected to attract a cross-section of stakeholders committed to inclusive development, social progress, and honest communication. The venue will be disclosed in the coming days.
