Peace Journalism: PCC, CCMN enter project phase II

The Presbyterian Church in Cameroon PCC has flag-off the second phase of the Peace Journalism and Conflict transformation project in the NW Region.


Meeting with the North West Chapter of the Cameroon Community Media Network CCMN on Friday July 24, 2020, Rev Nta William for the PCC National Peace Office adopted a humanitarian based approach as a means to Peace Journalism and Conflict transformation.


According to the Regional Coordinator for CCMN NW Rosaline Akah Obah, there is no time to rest for the members of her network until the second phase of the project is succesful. She has also expressed gratitude to the PCC through the National Peace Office for ensuring that journalists are part of the Peace building process.



The PCC National Peace Project Coordinator who is on a national tour to to flag-off phase two of the Peace and Conflict transformation project confirmed the new approach saying " it is the same project but we shall give it a Humanitarian touch focusing on IDPs, persons with disabilities and minority groups."

North West Cameroon: Remarkable Cultures I- The Nso People

They own, and with pride, use Lamnso (language of Nso) anywhere they are found.
