Following a Presidential decree signed November 27, 2015 Prof. Nkuo Theresa Akenji is the new Vice Chancellor VC, of the University of Bamenda: The University of the Future.
Born in Wombong, Boyo Division in the North West Region, Prof Nkuo Theresa is a product of
Our Lady of Lourdes College, Mankon-Bamenda, Saint Mary of Woods
College, Indiana USA, the State University of New York USA and the School of
Tropical Medicine, Louisiana State University USA where
she emerged with a PhD in Parasitology and Immunology.
Described my many as soft-spoken and calm, the new VC is the seating National President of all women group, catholic Women's Association with her reign to run till 2017. She is Married and Mother of three.
