By Bakah Derick PWD social football club of Bamenda and Yong Sports Academy (YOSA) shall be heading into day seven of the ongoing Elite One championship in Cameroon ranked second in their respective pools. Enter PWD Bamenda PWD Bamenda opened their account in fine-form in Limbe as they humbled YAFOOT FC 3-1. The Abakwa Boys though reduced to 10 after goalkeeper Sombang Eduard was red carded gave a good account of themselves at the centenary stadium; a venue some diehards call "home." Before the first 45mins elapsed, "Ngia P" was already up by two thanks to a 10th minute own goal by John Efufa and John Paul Nzo Ngong 35'. Junior Mbeleck pulled back one at the 65th minute but that was not good enough against a "wild" PWD that needed just a win. Brilliant Awahmukala who will later emerge man of the match made matters worst for YAFOOT FC coming from his left back position to get the third for the Abakwa Boys at the 65th minute.
