CBC Health Services: “We Ring the Bell” campaign goes global

By Bakah Derick   The 2021 edition of the “We Ring the Bell” annual campaign by the Cameroon Baptist Convention (CBC) HealthServices has taken an international dimension. Previously an internal institutional activity, the CBC Health Services in collaboration with Cameroon’s ministries of social affairs and education (basic and secondary) have organised a three-day virtual campaign which goes beyond the institution with many taking part from around the world..

Thus, CBC Health Services ’ journey alongside persons with disabilities started three decades back.    The institution initially began supporting children with disabilities as part of its mission towards vulnerable groups.    In those early days, the support was essentially limited to health care. CBC Health Services Launches Scholarship for Children, Youths with Disability

 The Cameroon Baptist Convention Health Services CBCHS has set in motion a scholarship scheme for children and youths with disabilities. The launch which took place on Tuesday November 10, 2020 adds another feather to the work being done by the CBCHS for persons with disabilities. The Scholarship Service for Children and Youths with Disabilities in Cameroon will be managed by the Services for Persons with Disability (SPD) program of the CBC Health Services.
