Türkiye Earthquake: Bamenda Amputee Football club one month after death of Teneng Elvis Nkam-Vishow

By Bakah Derick  Friday March 10, players of Bamenda Amputee Football Club are on the second day of training after a month-long break. They returned for training at the Nkwen Baptist School field in Bamenda this time knowing that they will never see their immediate past captain Teneng Elvis Nkam popularly known as Vishow. Safety and Security in NW Schools: Confessional and Private schools take lead with dress code challenges

By Bakah Derick  Schools in Bamenda have begun preparations for the 2021/2022 academic year with safety and security as a priority considering the current armed conflict in the region.            School fence of a school in Bamenda While a majority of confessional and Private schools are taking more visible measures, government institutions seem to be moving at snail pace.  In a visit to some schools in Bamenda, we could see restriction fences raised or being raised. The officials say they are contructing these fences to be able to control access to the school buildings.  "With the fence, we will be able to control access to the school building by locking the gates and monitoring the entrances during school hours." By Bakah Derick  In an article published on Wednesday 11 August 2021 on www.hilltopvoices.com tiitled Cameroon Amputee Football League: 2021 Golden boot winner targets Europe, we wrongly reported that Fon Dieudonne finished golden boot winner of the 2020/2021 National Amputee Football League.  Rather, Ndifor Joel with seven goals from SWAMPUTEE amputee football club is the Golden Boot winner while Fon Dieudonne from Abakwa Amputee Football Club finished third with five goals including a hat-trick.  We regret the inconviniences this might have caused the the Cameroon National Amputee Football League and the players concerned.  Every other information in the said article stands true as reported including the Europe target by the player. 

Cameroon Amputee Football League: 2020/2021 Golden boot winner targets Europe
