The delegation arrived on Wednesday and was received by senior church officials including Rev. Ngongan Paul Anyam, Moderator’s Representative for the North West Region, alongside presbyterial secretaries, treasurers, clergy, and members of the Christian community. Their reception drew a broad cross section of the Presbyterian faithful, reflecting the significance attached to the papal visit.
The PCC delegation is expected to participate in key moments of the visit, including a peace meeting at St. Joseph’s Metropolitan Cathedral and the open air Mass at Bamenda International Airport. The Moderator and his entourage have already taken their seats at the cathedral in anticipation of the Pope’s arrival.

The Bamenda leg of the visit is expected to centre on dialogue with community actors affected by the ongoing crisis in the North West and South West regions, before the Pope departs for Yaoundé-Nsimalen International Airport later in the day.
