Moving from ward to ward, the delegation shared words of encouragement and prayed with patients, wishing them strength and speedy recovery.
Madam Mary Nkwain said the outreach formed part of the association’s commitment to reflection, sacrifice and service during the Lenten season. She noted that beyond spiritual support, the association felt compelled to identify with patients facing financial hardship.
The team was received by the hospital’s Director Dr. Nsame Denis, who welcomed the initiative and thanked the group for their thoughtful gesture. He expressed appreciation particularly for the support extended to indigent patients struggling to settle their medical expenses, describing the visit as timely and uplifting.
The CWA Cause of Our Joy Division reaffirmed its pledge to continue standing by those in need, insisting that faith must be translated into concrete acts of compassion within the community.
