The atmosphere in Tabenken, Nkambe Central Subdivision, was charged with celebration and renewed political zeal as Hon. Barrister Ta Nformi Ngala Gerard and his campaign team returned to the area to celebrate what he described as the “certain victory” of President Paul Biya in Sunday’s presidential election.
Residents of Tabenken turned out in large numbers, waving CPDM flags and chanting slogans of support for the ruling party. Addressing the crowd, the Member of Parliament thanked the population for their steadfast loyalty and called for total mobilisation to deliver what he termed a “100 percent vote” for President Biya on 12 October.
Before his stop in Tabenken, Hon. Ta Nformi had met with members of the Muslim community in Nkambe, who pledged their total support for the CPDM. They cited the visible development projects initiated under the leadership of the Mayor and the MP during their first mandate including road improvements, social infrastructure, and community empowerment initiatives.
Hon. Ta Nformi Ngala Gerard praised the unity and commitment of the people, describing Nkambe Central as a model of loyalty and development under the CPDM banner. He urged voters to turn out massively on Sunday to reaffirm their trust in President Biya’s leadership and continue the region’s development momentum.
