CBC Health Services Central Administration Staff Pledge Loyalty to Incoming Director

Staff at the Central Administration of the Cameroon Baptist Convention Health Services (CBCHS) this Wednesday 8 May 2024  pledged their loyalty to Ngum Samuel as he officially assumed his role as the Director of Health Services (DHS). 

Warri Denis, Deputy Director for Administration and Finance (DDAF), extended the welcome of the staff to Ngum, embracing him as the new steward of CBCHS's health initiatives. Pledging their total support, Warri conveyed the allegiance and commitment of the entire CBC Health Services team to  Ngum's leadership, highlighting their readiness to collaborate and follow his guidance.

Addressing the assembled staff for the first time as Director of CBC Health Services, Ngum Samuel articulated his readiness to advancing the mission and vision of CBCHS. He paid tribute to the immediate past Director Prof. Tih Pius Muffih, recognizing his invaluable reservoir of knowledge and experience, which Ngum vowed to draw upon in his new role. Emphasizing the significance of resilience in healthcare systems, Ngum pledged to work hand in hand with the staff to build upon the legacy of CBCHS, which spans close to five decades.

In a notable announcement, the new DHS unveiled plans for the forthcoming 50th anniversary celebration of CBCHS in 2025, urging collective efforts towards this significant milestone. 
As the morning unfolded, Rev. Fongoh Godwin, lead chaplain of the Central Administration, led the staff in prayer for  Ngum, invoking blessings and guidance as he embarks on this pivotal journey of leadership.

With a renewed sense of purpose and unity, the CBCHS family looks ahead to a future under the stewardship of Ngum Samuel, as they continue their engagement to healthcare excellence and community empowerment.
