During the early years of the COVID-19 pandemic, Ta Mbisah I took the initiative to create a WhatsApp online platform called Nkungse Nedore Mohmenkwen. This platform was established with the aim of fostering development and growth within Nkwen, one of two village s within the Bamenda III Municipality.

Over the past four years, Nkungse Nedore Mohmenkwen has spearheaded numerous projects that have had a positive impact on various communities. One of the notable achievements of this platform is the electrification project, which involved installing street lighting across the municipality. This initiative not only enhanced security within the area but also improved the overall quality of life for residents.

In addition to the electrification project, Ta Mbisah I and his team have constructed several culverts throughout the municipality. These culverts have played a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient movement within the communities especially during periods of heavy rainfall.

Nkungse Nedore Mohmenkwen has been actively influential in supporting the rehabilitation and construction of community halls in Nkwen. These halls serve as important gathering spaces for various events and activities, contributing to the social cohesion and cultural vibrancy of the area.

Ta Mbisah I's commitment to education and youth empowerment is also evident through the scholarship programs initiated by Nkungse Nedore Mohmenkwen. Numerous underprivileged children in the municipality, including those in 2023, have benefited from these scholarships, enabling them to access quality education and pursue their dreams.

Ta Mbisah I has been a strong advocate for vocational training, sponsoring through his group underprivileged youths in Nkwen to learn skills such as dressmaking, glassworks, and other crafts. By providing opportunities for vocational training, he is empowering young people to acquire valuable skills that can lead to sustainable livelihoods and economic independence.

Beyond his contributions to community development, Ta Mbisah I is known for his deep appreciation and promotion of Nkwen's rich tradition and culture. He is a staunch supporter of local institutions, particularly the traditional throne, and works tirelessly to preserve and celebrate the heritage of Nkwen.

The impressive community development projects spearheaded by Ta Mbisah I of Nkwen are made possible by the dedicated efforts of the members of Nkungse Nedore Mohmenkwen.

This group, consisting of close to 200 members, each contribute a minimum of 1000frs every month towards the development initiative. Their collective commitment and financial support have played a crucial role in funding the various projects that have significantly improved the lives of residents in the Bamenda III Municipality. The spirit of unity and cooperation within the group exemplifies the power of community-driven initiatives in driving positive change and sustainable development.
