Cameroon Cup 2021: President's message to PWD Captain is respect for youth- Hon Agho Oliver MP

The member of parliament for Bafut-Tubah Constituency has decribed the message from the President of the Republic, Paul Biya to the Captain  of PWD social football club of Bamenda as a demonstration of respect for the youth. 
Talking to www.hilltopvoices.com, Hon Agho Oliver confirmed his position which he had earlier shared with the Cameroon Radio Television (CRTV) explained that by writing directly to the Captain is great recognition of the efforts the youth is making in the country.

"This letter that was addressed to PWD football club through their captain Derrick Berinyuy is an indication that the President of the republic recognises hardwork and it is an encouragement to the rest of the youth in Cameroon that when you work hard, the head of state will surely recognise you." The Lawmaker said 
President Paul Biya on Sunday 14 March 2022 addressed a message of congratulations to PWD Bamenda players, coaches and other technical staff  through their team captain following their 1-0 win against Astre of Douala a day earlier during the 59th edition of the Cameroon Cup final. 

According to the President,  the victory of the "Abakwa Boys" which he decribed as "excellence sports performance" was a result of commitment and talents. He has urged the team to redouble efforts as they prepare for CAF Confederation Cup next year. 

Hon Agho Oliver has also used his reaction to extend words of satisfaction to team PWD Bamenda and all who worked to ensure the team succeed.
