Elite Two Pre-season: Rangers FC ignores infrastructure challenges, intensifies preparations

Following the signing of a new contract with Coach Anumewa Franklin on Tueaday 12 October 2021, the recently promoted Elite Two side Rangers FC Bafut has been training in preparation for the new football season expected to begin in February 2022. 
Training every week day at the St Paul Comprehensive High School field in Nkwen Bamenda since December 2021 and continuing from January 11 2022 after the Christmas break, the lead trainer Coach Anumewa says despite the infrastructure difficulties, the management of the team is doing everything possible to make the players and technical staff comfortable. 
While announcing the arrival of six new players from.clubs like Elite One side Eding, North West Regional League teams like Rainbow, the gaffer has described his team as "young and athletic" ready for the new season. 
Rangers FC Bafut has confirmed participation in a regional Pre-season tournament expected to begin on Friday 4 February 2022. In a release to confirm their participation, the team invites her supporters to join them during the tournament's opener against Hilltop Strikers at the St Paul Field.  Coach Anumewa says the tournament will enable him better prepare his team for the Elite Two challenge. 

After qualifying Rangers FC Bafut for the Elite Two Championship, Anumewa Franklin says his ambition is to finish the season amongst the top three best teams in the country. 
The Team President, George Neba has reaffirmed his commitment to give the North West Region another Elite One team after successfully managing the team for about five years and qualifying for Elite football. He has shown determination and resilience assisting in almost all training sessions and matches of the team.
