By Bakah Derick with reports

The Mayor of the Nkambe Council has handed over equipment to authorities of the renovated Binka Women's Empowerment Center. The handing over exercise on the 19th of January 2022 according to a post on the council's Facebook page is part of the Mayor's aggressive development plan which will carter for the needs of women especially single mothers and vulnerable girls.

The integrated health facility like many across the country lack the basics which makes work challenging  for local health personnel. The Mayor's donation will no doubt be a reason for the Binka health facility personnel to heave a sigh of relief.
In a similar action, the Municipal head also donated medical equipment to the Bih integrated health center. To ensure regular power supply in an area with constant power outstages, the mayor added to the equipment the installation of a solar lighting system.
