Cameroon Elite Referees upgrade skills


Over 30 elite Referees and Referee Assistants from across Cameroon have converged in Yaounde for a five day training course under the auspices of the Cameroon Football Federation FECAFOOT and the World’s football governing body FIFA.



Objectives
The training course from Tuesday September 24 to 28 has as main objectives to enhance the beauty of Cameroon refereeing, ameliorate knowhow by correcting interpretation and application of the laws as well as improve the technical approach of the trainees during matches as concerns reading of the game, concentration, anticipation, movement, decision and automatic reactions.



Facilitators
The training course has as main facilitators Evehe Divine CAF/FIFA instructor, Mouanjo Kala CAF instructor and Mekouande Evarist who is also a CAF instructor. They are accompanied by Anachi a CAF/FIFA physical instructor from Algeria.



Methodology
The facilitators will use different approaches during the training course amongst them; brief presentations, group work, discussions and on the field practical sessions.



Expected outcome
At the end of the training course, the referees will be tested on the knowledge gained as well as begin preparations for CAF and FIFA organised competitions.
