Campaign Pulse 2025: Cabral Libii unveils daily campaign letter, calls on voters to break free from fear

Hon. Cabral Libii, presidential candidate of the Cameroon Party for National Reconciliation (PCRN), has intensified his campaign with the launch of a daily letter to Cameroonians, urging them to embrace change and reject fear.

The “Orange Wave” candidate, who began his official campaign on Sunday 28 September in Douala before thousands of party supporters, published his first “Daily Campaign Letter” on Monday. In it, he sought to inspire voters with a message of hope, courage, and national renewal.

Addressing citizens directly, Mformi Libii wrote: “We advance with steady and serene steps towards a new dawn reflecting our aspirations better than in the past. Together, by the force of our commitment and our burning desire for change, we shall open new chapters in our common history.”

The PCRN candidate acknowledged the climate of fear that, in his words, has long paralysed Cameroonians under a system of dictatorship. But he urged citizens to rise above it.

“Do not be afraid. Open your eyes. The Orange Wave is here. It brings hope to those who will make a courageous and dignified choice – the choice of rupture and progress.”

In his letter, Hon. Cabral Libii projected confidence in victory, declaring that the 12 October 2025 poll would mark a turning point for the nation.

“On 12 October, we shall succeed together. On that day, I will be elected President of the Republic of Cameroon.” he wrote

The move to issue a daily letter is being seen as part of Hon. Libii’s strategy to maintain momentum, directly engage with voters, and reinforce his image as the candidate of youthful energy and bold reform.

As campaigns gather pace, the “Orange Wave” continues to position itself as an alternative to both the ruling establishment and traditional opposition, seeking to capture the mood of voters eager for change.
