Dignitaries visit NWCA Ltd stand, taste, celebrate Kola Coffee in style at North West Economic Forum

Governor Lele Lafrique and Minister Mbayu Felix join NWCA GM in a moment of pride and purpose visited the North West Cooperative Association NWCA Ltd stand at the North West Economic Forum on Bamenda, 13 July 2025.

What many attendees have hailed as one of the symbolic highlights of the forum’s opening day, the Governor of the North West Region,  Adolphe Lele Lafrique Tchoffo Deben, and the Minister Delegate in the Ministry of External Relations, Mbayu Felix, made an uncommon visit to the NWCA Ltd exhibition stand, where they were warmly received by the General Manager, Mr Waindim Timothy Ntam.

With polished elegance, the guests were ushered into the beautifully curated stand, a space that stood out not only for its visual impact but also for its deep cultural and economic symbolism. The rich aroma of freshly brewed Kola Coffee by world class batistas filled the air, offering a quiet but compelling introduction to what NWCA Ltd represents being a cooperative-driven legacy spanning decades, and a bold vision for agro-economic revival.

What followed was a scene both intimate and historic. The Governor and Minister sat down beside the NWCA GM, and, with cups raised, toasted something bigger than just the exceptional quality of the coffee, they toasted to resilience, community strength, and the promise of a region reclaiming its pride through its own hands and harvests.

Kola Coffee, brewed and served at just the right temperature by the NWCA marketing team, became a vehicle of diplomacy, unity, and shared purpose. Guests and observers looked on as the dignitaries exchanged smiles and sips, the moment quietly declaring: this is not just coffee, this is Cameroon proud, local, and ready to rise.

Speaking briefly after the toast, the GM Waindim Timothy Ntam reaffirmed NWCA Ltd’s commitment to delivering excellence while empowering the thousands of farming families whose livelihoods are woven into every bean. The presence of high-level government officials, he said, served as both recognition and motivation.

Behind the scenes, NWCA Ltd’s marketing department, under the careful leadership of its head Neng Delphine, orchestrated the visit with exceptional professionalism ensuring every detail, from presentation to protocol, reflected the values of the institution being discipline, dignity, and development through cooperative effort.

The visit also reinforced the forum’s wider narrative that homegrown solutions deserve high-level attention, and that investing in what is authentically local can serve as a powerful foundation for regional and national transformation.

As the dignitaries moved on to their next engagement, they left behind not just empty coffee cups, but a message. One of endorsement. One of belief in the potential of local institutions like NWCA Ltd. One of hope, brewed strong and served with grace.
