Culture: After Bamenda, Douala, Nkwenbere presentation in Yaoundé this Saturday

Nkwenbere: a book on the culture, customs and tradition of the Nkwen people will be presented in the Yaoundé this Saturday 6 August 2022. The presentation will done on the sidelines of the ongoing maiden official royal visit of HRH Fon Azehfor III of Nkwen to his community in Yaoundé.

The book presentation to take place at the Nkwen Cultural and Development Association hall in the Damas neighbourhood will be the second public presentation after publication. According to the author Muma Azehfor III second adviser to the Fon of Nkwen, after the official launch at the Nkwen Fon's Palace on Friday 22 July 2022, the rest of the events around the book will be public presentation reason why he is using the official visit of the Fon for the exercise and not organising separate events.

The presentation of the book took place in Douala on Saturday 30 July 2022 to a large audience at the wedding reception of one of the Quarter heads of Nkwen Mbissah Tony. Duirng the presentation, several copies were given out with the author describing the presentation as successful.

Over 100 copies have been taken to Yaoundé and our expected to be given out to the enthusiastic Nkwen community that is said to be taking the lead in the promotion and protection of the culture far away from home.
