The #2000 #Cameroon Cup winners have been shown the way out of the North West regional Interpool competition. #Kumbo strikers were booted out on Saturday 14 August 2021 by #Rangers FC of Bafut. Goals from Ndiforche Bless(2) and Ngong Oliver(1) were good enough to send Kumbo strikers packing.
"Their exit did not surprise me. I think Kumbo Strikers needs a more serious management. The boys who play in the team now, even the club history does not motivate." Lashaa Harry a fan of the team told Hilltopvoices.
Coach Fai Salle qualified the Kumbo team for the playoffs after finishing second behind Bafmeng United a goal ahead of Abakwa Boys.
Anumewa Frankline takes Rangers FC of Bafut into the semi finals with the hope of taking the team to the national Interpool.
