By Bakah Derick

The Archbishop of Bamenda has apologised on behalf of his brother Bishop of Kumbo for not being able to attend the final profession of some four Reverend sisters in Bamenda. His Grace Andrew Nkea was speaking on Saturday 14, August 2021 at the St John Catholic Church Ntaghem in Nkwen Bamenda during the final profession of the sisters into the Catholic religious congregation Sisters of St Anne.
           Bishop George Nkuo of Kumbo

According to His Grace Andrew Nkea, Bishop George Nkuo sincerely wished to attend the final profession but the blocking of the road leading to Bamenda from his Diocese Kumbo prevented him.

The Prelate who hard challenged the newly professed to give themselves in total dedication to God and the Church, noted that as the carism of the Sisters of St Anne indicate, they have as a duty to bring the children to God.

The road leading to Bamenda from Kumbo via Ndop has been blocked for several days by non state armed groups fighting for a new country they call Ambazonia.
