The Senior Divisional Officer SDO for Mezam Simon Mooh Emile has announced the readiness of his administration to enforce the respect preventive of preventive measure in tthe division. The SDO was speaking to the press in Bamenda Wednesday July 23. Here is his declaration courtesy MNews237
"Bamenda II is cosmopolitan municipality, the heart of our economic activities, hosting the main markets, the regional hospital, banks, micro finances etc, therefore the councillors must go back to the field and sensitize their people. The virus is within our community and it's important to take security measures to protect our children. Tell the people to put on their face masks, wash their hands with soap, observe the social distancing and others.."

"Those who disrespect the
barrier measures are promoting deliberately and willingly the virus,
puting the lives of others at risk"

have signed a prefectoral order, banning all forms of collective sports
in the division. Those who'll be caught defiling the order shall be
immediately ARRESTED and DETAINED in alliance with sanctions attributed
by the penal code"
