National Inter-Pool 2019: Stade De Bertoua disappoint home Fans with first match draw against Kohi Club

Stade Bertoua has opened their campaign at the National Inter-pool 2019 with a draw against Kohi Club of Maroua this Sunday August 25.
The 1-1 draw as a result of goals from Benjamin Alex Luke 17” of Stade Bertoua and Ousmanou Hamadou 59” of Kohi Club of Maroua has received mix reactions both teams.

“I am very disappointed. I came here today shouted and supported my team and they could not win. The draw is not good for day one and as you know they will very much depend on the result of the other match to know if they will qualify even if they win. It feels very bad.” Samba Olivier supporter of Stade Bertoua said


Stade Bertoua Captain however assured his supporters.  “We are not satisfied with the first game of today. We cannot hide our disappointment but we know that the best is ahead. ..  It is bad because we are playing at home and everyone came here to push us to victory but we disappointed them as they always ask for more. They wanted a victory today but we gave our all. I will say again one point is not too bad and so we will do everything to win the next match.” He said

The Management of Kohi Club of Maroua on their part see their draw as not bad particularly one obtained against the host team. “I am satisfied President with this draw because playing against Stade Bertoua at home is not easy. With the engagement of my team, it is a very sufficient draw. We will now have to rest while observing the second match of pool between Stade Bertoua and PWD of Kumba and then we play on the last day against PWD of Kumba. It is a good advantage for us.” Boubakari Tokoto former player of Kohi Club now President of the team said.


Both teams with 1pt each battle for the top position as PWD of Kumba was on standby this Sunday. The K-towners begin their campaign on Wednesday August 28 against host team Stade Bertoua before facing Kohi Club on the last day of the competition Saturday August 31.
