Minister Atanga Nji donates hugely to NW flag bearers at Inter-pool.

A special envoy of the Minister of Territorial Administration has paid a surprise visit to Foncha Street FC in Bertoua.
The special envoy who visited the team in Camp in the Mokolo neighborhood in Bertoua 1 Sub-division was bearer of a message of encouragement from Minister Atanga Nji Paul and an envelope that provided at least 25000F per player and some additional support for the technical staff.
The donation comes at the time the Minister joins many othrrs to demand the opening of schools in the NW and SW regions 

The visit which comes ahead of a decisive encounter this Saturday August 31 between the NW flag bearers and Mercure du Mbam has been described as a major motivation for the club that needs either a draw or a win to clinch an elite two ticket.


Moh David President of the team and Mbigha Felix NW FECAFOOT president were on hand to receive the Minister's envoy. They have extended their gratitude to the minister promising that all will be done to get an Elite Two team for the region. They have extended words of encouragement from NW Governor Adolph Lele L'Afrique to the team.



Foncha Street FC won their first game against Etoile Filante of Garoua 3-1 thanks to a hat trick scored by Awah Mukala Brillant.

They own, and with pride, use Lamnso (language of Nso) anywhere they are found. They are from the grassfields of Cameroon, with capital being Kimbo (or today known as Kumbo), the Nso People have a rare structured traditional administrative setup, with the Fon at the summit; then there are the   Vibai, aShufai, aYaa, aFai, aShey, etc.  Yeeh Ngwerong  The very religious people give uncommon value to their traditional beliefs, yet are so attached to Christianity and Islam, the two main religions apart from the traditional practices.
