The contract signed August 20, 2019 comes after Jang had been contacted by several clubs both home and abroad.

Though the contract duration has not been made public, it is likely he will be in Cameroon for at least the next football season.

“I am happy to have reached a deal with a club like Eding FC. I am ready to start the new season with the club and give them my all.” J. S. Jang told reporters.

The player’s manager sees the move as both strategic and technical. “I accepted him to sign in Cameroon so as to build his discipline and mindset. We had calls from elsewhere but I think it was good for him to start from home after his training in Argentina where he has been an amazing player. Technically speaking, Junior Sunday Jang will be the next big thing in the attacking position in Cameroon. The move is strategic.” Chi Ivo said on phone from Germany.

“It is not a mistake we signed Junior Jang. We are convinced of what he can do. He will be an important part of the group we are putting together for this season. I feel like we have someone special who will be part of us this season.” A source at the Eding FC technical team remarked.
