The Bamenda based charity New Breed Africa Foundation has celebrated over 30 actors in the music industry in the NW region. The celebrations which took the form of an award christened New Breed Africa Celebrity NBACA took place February 24 in Bamenda.

Speaking at
the award event, The CEO of New Breed Africa Foundation and vision bearer of
the NBACA herself a Journalist and Musician noted that “New Breed Africa
Celebrity Awards is intended to discover, publicly recognize and appreciate the
immense efforts, performance, consistency, and commitment, moral, ethical and
developmental impact of respective meritorious actors of the entertainment
industry primarily in our local communities then the nation at large within the
younger and older generations at the end of each year.”

According to
Atangche Zita “This award event, cuts
across the arts and entertainment world, touching on music, movie, comedy,
Instrumentation, video editing, producers, showbiz promotion, fashion
designing, dance etc.”

Reacting to
her award on her Facebook page Rose Obah Akah said “It was a humbling moment
for me during the New Breed Africa Celebrity Awards 2019 I received a Special
Award for the promotion of home Arts/Talents and Community Development. I
dedicate this to God Almighty for another recognition this year. I always tell
myself that the reward for good work is more work. Special thanks to the New
Breed Africa Foundation through her indefatigable Atangche Zita. May the sun
never go down on your strides”

With the
understanding that the event was not as smooth as planned due to natural
circumstances amongst them rain though with the heavy turnout Zita in a post
event reaction said “This is what happens when a people fall in love with a
vision God has given for the betterment of lives/society. NBACA
2019 24th Feb was one unforgettable day in the history of New Breed Africa Foundation. Scotching sun, rain, and blood
shed/electrical power put together against the success of NBACA
Edition2 into which people sowed their lives for months, yet God
& the Love of the People prevailed over all
circumstances.”

NBACA’s
vision bearer was full of praise to God and those who took part in the vent. “Ohh
how I love my God!! My beloved people of Bamenda North West and You who travelled across the country to bear it all with us
for the celebration of Arts/Talents/Impact/Development. We can't be more proud
of you. We promise you by God's ceaseless Grace upon us "Under rain we
dey, Under Sun we dey" till the big dream becomes our reality. We aren’t
giving up!. We'll all get there together.” She said

Started in
2015, NBACA event which comes with four major events, that is; the Nomination
night, the Pre-award show, Music seminar and the Award proper is the only award
event in the region that celebrates music actors.
