PWD Bamenda clinches National interpols ticket

Thousands Sunday November 15, 2015 stormed the Mankon-Bamenda municipal stadium to be witnesses to the outcome of the 2015 Mini-intepols between PWD Bamenda and Bang Bullet of Nkambe. 

After eliminating Dzekwa Rangers and TATECAM, PWD and Bang Bullet respectively opened the final game with a strong determination of representing the region during the upcoming qualifies for the National Division two championship. 

The determination was turned into a wish for Bang Bullet by two goals from PWD through Ngoume Abel and Bendegue Serge at full time. 

Northwest regional secretary Absalum Mono Wolua watched t finals alongside Northwest Sports and FECAFOOT authorities amongst them Achirri Lawrence Delegate for Sports and Physical Education, Kaba Christopher NW FECAFOOT president, club representatives and a large football population. 


Northwest gets new CSJA executive 

Piere Anoufack Journalist with Radio Hot Cocoa Vamenda has been elected president of the Northwest Regional Chapter of Cameroon Sports Journalists Association, CSJA.

The Sunday November 15, 2015 in Bamenda also saw the election of Christopher Ndikum of NDEFCAM radio as Vice President, Secretary General: Richard Ndeh of Radio Evangelium Bamenda, and Wanchia Cynthia of Radio Hot Cocoa as treasurer. 

Following the statutes of the association, other functions had to be designated by the elected executive. Consequently, Abongwa Fozo was appointed Vice Secretary, Ambe McMillan as Financial Secretary, Bakah Derick as Public Relations Officer and for the Advisers Chives Loh, Yuven Walter and Donald Sufi. 

In his acceptance Speech, the President Piers Anoufack promised to work in collaboration with all sporting federations in the Northwest in other for the association to be a pointer to the sports potentials of the region. 

Bamenda Archbishop Preaches Unity in Nkwen 

The archbishop of Bamenda has ended a four day Pastoral visit to St Michael's Parish Futru-Nkwen. His Grace Cornelius Fontem Asia ended his visit to the parish on Sunday November 15, 2015 with a call for Christians in Nkwen to understand the Church as the body of Christ the founder. The Bishop noted that in Church there is no difference in terms of origin since she unites everyone into the body of Christ. 

During his stay in Futru-Parish, His Grace Cornelius Esua administered the sacrament of confirmation to hundreds of Catholics in Mbelem, Manda and Futru Mission stations reminding them that like the Apostles thy have received the Holy Spirit and should now go and share the joy of God's word and goodness. 

The Roman Catholic Church leader in Bamenda used the stay in the Piarist rimmed parish to visit school, mission stations and other services under his spiritual care.
